I’m a late boomer, but I can recognize the ones in the top two rows. Bottom center is the Pink Panther? Not a good representation if it is. Bottom right is Transformers? Bottom left is ???
When will the tank top become an option for purchase??
It’s in the description along with reglan, but they’re never available in the style drop menu options. What gives??
It’s summer! It’s too hot for even a t-shirt, let alone a sweatshirt!

@jrsquonk
Seems like most of these were current during boomers years. Both the Jetsons and Flintstones actually started a prime time TV in the early sixties. The only ones that could make a true claim to being gen-X / post boomer are TMNT & Transformers. My guess is the artist is Gen-X and because they saw all these in their childhood it never occurred to them that half of what they were watching were boomer reruns…
I created this design to celebrate the cartoons that were popular between 1965 and 1980. The only character I hesitated about including was the Ninja Turtles
I’m a millennial, and these characters also represent my own ’90s childhood.
I chose not to put “Gen X” on the shirt so the design can resonate with anyone who’s familiar with these classic characters.
We used to offer tanks, that is why they show up in the description. We hope to one day bring them back but that is an issue with our production partner.
Would buy, but the Ninja Turtles completely ruin the shirt. How about we swap them out for Bugs Bunny. Damn, such a good shirt otherwise, but I can’t get past the TMNT. They gained popularity in the 90’s. Just doesn’t make sense. Perfect for a Millennial shirt. I was a teenager when they gained popularity. I stopped watching morning cartoons then, like most Gen X teenagers.
I don’t think TMNT makes any sense. They gained popularity in the 90’s.
Well I think it’s a great design @erion5k
and it would seem Wooters think so as well ![]()
Please get them (or whoever) to also bring back the fitted tees! One bad decision after another… ![]()
You know whats awesome? You can design your own shirt instead of pooping all over someone elses.
Personally love the shirt, reminds me of my childhood.
Nice job.
TMNT? REALLY? Come on. Where’s Speed Racer? Or even Popeye the Sailor? I might need to call bull-shirt!
As a fan of the fitted shirts I feel the pain, but they are not coming back.
It has been a really long time since I looked at shirt woot - years, & I’m really surprised to see they allow both IP infringement & ai slop. It’s a creative idea, don’t get me wrong. I like the concept. I just never would have expected this sort of thing to be allowed on woot. I had children’s television workshop copyright claim one of my designs that was based on a child’s birthday cake & a meme (I recreated the elmo on fire gif), & it didn’t even look like their character. This design has 9 potential IP claims. Good luck, I guess.
Okay, I just browsed through shirt woot - it looks like it’s pretty much all ai slop & mostly IP infringement. Wild.
I’ll never buy another woot shirt again. Damn. Regular tees are just too boxy.
Noted
Yeah, I have a shirt shop with over 100 designs that I created myself. None are ai. Using ai to generate images isn’t shirt design. Wasn’t trying to be mean - I said the concept was good. It’s not like he drew it. He typed in some words & ai trained on human generated artwork generated the image. It was more a critique of woot allowing painfully obvious ai designs & obvious copyright violations. It didn’t used to be like that.
