This is a reasonably good deal. The highest-spec option offered here is about $50 less than I can find it anywhere else online. The i7 processor, while not extremely new, should be more than sufficient for general use. The storage and RAM are also adequate (though 32GB is definitely a plus!). A 1080p display is a welcome change from the usual 1366x768 dreck.
For alternatives, you can find business-class laptops with comparable specs for cheaper if you scour the internet a bit. For example, this Dell Latitude 7310 at Newegg (just for illustration) has the same processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD for $280, or a 1TB SSD for $304. Of course, I know people don’t like Newegg, and the build quality on an Elitebook will likely be a little better than the build quality on a Latitude, at least in my experience. But other cheaper options exist.
