Interesting concept. From the very last picture, it seems like maybe there are two units which are included in this system: the main vertical-standing speaker/computer, and a horizontal-standing secondary speaker.

I was going to ask if anyone knew for sure but upon closer inspection, the last picture is a closeup of the bottom portion of the unit. I guess I should drink my coffee BEFORE wooting.

I got the Wave less expensive 600 last year from Woot and am very happy with it.

There is no second speaker with mine. To keep the cats from messing with it when not in use, I place a squarish Priority Mail box over it. Fits well.

I do use a wireless keyboard and mouse, as the USB ports are a bit limited and not having wires works well with something that sits on my desk.

I like my 600-A014 HP Wave. This looks much better

These are fairly nice as a small PC connected to the TV, or anywhere a small form factor would be desired. Nice performance from the i3 models I purchased from here previously. I upgraded the RAM to 16GB and bought an SSD but haven’t installed it yet.Given the form factor, they are a bit of a bear to tear down and get to the naughty bits. The sound is very good. The included wireless keyboard and mouse work well, although I bought a more compact Logitech model with a built-in touchpad.
These are great as a gateway to your home network, or as a streaming media server for an older, no-longer-being-updated Smart TV.
I view the premium of $130 for this i5 model a bit steep. If it were closer to $349 out the door, I’d buy another one.

Here’s a Linus Tech Tips review of this… thing.

At the time, they thought it was pretty good for the money, given what it is, a small form factor PC.
