Trying my best to figure this product out…

It took me a minute, but got it figured out… So 1st you fill the smallest cup, and leave the water in there.
2nd you fill up the medium sized cup to the full line, and then dump it into the largest cup.
This allows you to set the (now empty) medium cup into the large cup without over flowing the water you dumped into it from the medium cup.

3rd step - ** Before you put the medium cup into the big cup though ** you take the large lid and screw the small cup into it on the bottom side. (There’s two extra set of screw on rings built into the bottom side of the lid to hold the small cup, filled with water, securely without spilling. This allows the small cup to freeze as a center core).

4th, then you screw the empty middle size cup into the lid, over top of the small cup. This creates the empty chamber that you will pour the coffee into.

5th, you screw on the large cup into the lid, over top of the middle on. The water level inside the large cup should rise to the top when you put the medium cup into it, but it shouldn’t overflow. After you screw that on, it creates the outer ice casing, and you have one unit, ready for the freezer.

Put the entire cup into the freezer. Until water freezes… Turn brew your coffee and turn pour your coffee into the top of the lid, which will fill up the medium sized cup inside. The ice from the small cup creates the core in the middle, and the ice from the big cup creates the ice that surrounds the coffee. This is what allows the coffee to cool down within 60 seconds, and then you pour it out of the unit (without taking apart), into your glass of ice.

They advertise that you could pour another (second) full cup of brewed coffee from your coffee pot into the HyperChill cup, and the frozen water inside will stay cold enough to create a second cup of cold coffee, before you will need to refreeze the cup to be cold enough to work again.

Hope this helps! :relaxed:

Thanks everyone.

I made the mistake of thinking you could also drink from it.

I realize now it is supposed to just cool the hot drink.

I guess you could drink from this, but I keep getting the mental image of the kid at the flag pole in A Christmas Story (except lips instead of tongue). I’ve not tried drinking directly from it yet, nor do I plan on trying.

I bought one of these directly from the mothership a couple years back, and use it mostly to chill bourbon when I don’t want to water it down with melted ice. Works great.
