“Oh, hello there!”
I am a up and coming artist who was wondering whether or not there is an age restriction when it comes to submitting a shirt design, as I’ve got some planned.
“And if there is, you’ll have to wait a few years to see 'em!”
(Update, that’s a bit better of a picture!)
-Thanks
Welcome to the Shirt.Woot artist community! I’m not aware of any age restrictions, but you might want to familiarize yourself with the FAQ for a peek at the contracts and tax forms: What is Shirt.Woot?
Remember that there are two ways to participate- the weekly themed Derby contests, and submitting directly to Woot when you have ideas that don’t fit the derby brief. If you have questions about how to create the print-ready files, these forums can be a great place to get help, so don’t be afraid to ask!
These parts may be an aspect in which someone of legal majority needs to approve/sign, which in most of the US, is 18 years.
(Standard disclaimer for any Wooter reading: I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
Yeah, that could be a thing- I feel like it’s pretty common for kids to have jobs at 15/16 though (I know I did) and forms like that would be used then to?
My best guess would be that it’s fine to enter and participate at any age, but you should have a parent or guardian aware and able to help (probably just co-sign a form or two if anything prints) if you’re under 18.
