Got a few of these recently from a Woot sale, and they are terrific! Mine did not include their own power brick, but the I had plenty on hand that could provide the USB-C input on the back. It is very sturdy, and feels like very nice quality, unlike many chargers at this price, or even quite a bit more expensive.
The MagSafe phone charger is able to pivot, so it can easily tilt down to display a phone is portrait or landscape at a nice angle, or it can be set all the way back if the phone in question does not support MagSafe - My older Pixel charges just fine that way since it’s still Qi-compatible. Or my Sony earbuds, or whatever other normal Qi device I want to put on there. It’s a smooth hinge, so I don’t worry about moving it.
The AirPods and Apple Watch charging pads also work great. I have a silicone skin on my AirPods case, but it doesn’t seem to have any problem, and there is no excess heat when charging. The watch charger pad is on a little, removable platform that can be stored in the base of the unit. However, it sits nice and level, so a variety of watch band types are easily accommodated. Many other multi-device chargers that I’ve tried have failed with the watch, either due to poor magnetic alignment (causing charging to start/stop frequently, which caused tons of heat, and very little charging), or because the charger was on a slant, and the weight of a larger watch, or a heavier band would pull the watch out of the little magnetic cradle. This one is level, and works just fine with my leather link band, sports band (knock-off variety), or Milanese loop style. No problems.
All in all, this thing comes from a good brand, which makes some of the nicest Thunderbolt docks that are out there for high-end Mac users. And this charger easily exceeded my expectations for the price. It’s solid, heavy enough to not slide all over or tip over when charging a phone. The accessory chargers work just fine too, even with differing cases or bands. There is even a nifty little nightlight that can be set to a warm or cool white by tapping the left side of the device. Honestly, if I hadn’t already bought enough for my household, plus another couple as gifts, I’d buy the, again. And even if the price were double, I’d still feel like it was totally fair - This easily matches or exceeds some of the alternatives, whether they’re budget options, or up into the $70+ range, like Belkin, Anker, and others have made. I do kind of wish that I had a slightly larger version for my bedside table, but this thing still outshines most any other charger that I’ve tried.
Yes they are good. Bought it three weeks ago for $5 more!!! So this is a good deal.
