Cover the bowl and keep it in the freezer until next use. Do NOT leave the oil just sitting, it will go bad!! You can reuse the oil many times. You might need to add a little bit or new oil each time to bing it back up to level. After awhile it will start to turn a darker color and when it does you know it’s time to dump an get new oil. Warm up the used oil to liquid state and pour into an oil coffee can (metal NOT plastic), let it set up and then toss it in the trash. Easy as that!

Honestly, you’re probably better off putting your money towards a nice cast iron dutch oven and using that to fry. About the same amount of money will get you one that’s three times as large as this fryer, and it does more than just fry, too.

Actually, it’s a great deal. And not a “useless
expensive gadgetry you have laying aboot.”.
Anyone needing a deep fryer should look into this deal.
Btw, it looks easier to clean than most.

Ever try deep frying in a cast iron dutch oven? You have to add a thermometer… and have fun trying to regulate the temp…get it too much over 400 and Phoof flambe kitchen! Had it happen… :0(
