I’m assuming that’s “100% organic” HFCS found in the Beef Chipotle flavor? Nothing but the best, for this stuff, right?
Food is sadly very complicated these days. Even if this didn’t contain preservatives, the beef is most certainly still corn-fed feedlot crap. This is why I hardly buy packaged/processed foods anymore.
Can someone (else) please buy these up so we can get back to some cool stuff?
OR…
Woot controllers, can we just push fast forward and move on to the next?
Thanks!
xoxo

Wow, preservative city. Even Costco sells preservative free beef jerky. Give us a break, Woot, and just unload this stuff to BigLots. It looks like it deserves a space on their shelves, along with all the other supermarket, sodium nitrate (linked to cancer)laden varieties. For those of you in the Los Angeles area and who are beef jerky fanatics, I strongly recommend a trip to East LA, to a place called A&Z Nutwagon. It’s right off the 60, near the 5. The guy makes his own beef jerky, without preservatives, and the flavor is amazing. I always get the peppered (he only makes two kinds).

Well we ate some and it was tasty. but then it was free on the tour… I’m happy to do unhealthy things now and then
Have you tried fried arm? It’s great with lemongrass. I was introduced to it by these guinean pygmies. Roast leg too. Mmmmmm.
I don’t mean to be a jerk…but where’s the wine?
We get oils, buts, jerky, salt(s).
I would rather see some good beers in between the wines!
Signed,
the Jerk.

Agreed. It was far less bad than I had expected
The curry was actually quite tasty, and I enjoyed the hot flavors.
The stuff I had on the the bus was actually quite leathery not soft or sticky at all. I’d definitely eat more for free, but I’m not buying any for $6/bag…

We got some of this from WD on tour. Yummy lime one, and Lemon Garlic. Smoky Teriyaki also cool.
Hotter ones not so much, but late at night with no alternatives, I’ve had worse jerky.
Thing about them is all the additives, like nitrites and CORN SYRUP!!!. FFS. I like natural jerky. Or at least, minimally-invasive food. Corn Syrup? now that’s just silly.
yeah, no bacon here Nightghost, sadly! they’re too busy fixing things. Thanks tho’. BTW you see my definition? ![]()

what he said. The lime was good. The others worth what we paid for them.
Why can’t anyone make the sort of pure unadorned deer jerky we used to make with part of the deer we got every season?
I got this at the last Woot-off. It wasn’t overly-moist or sticky for me, and I thought the texture was perfect. Not too tough, not too soft, but still nicely moist.
That being said, I wasn’t a fan of the flavors, though my friend really liked them. Seems like you either love this stuff or you hate it.

Funny, but in 7-11 it all looks quite as expensive. This is just about $1/oz which is apparently quite reasonable! Still, I want to know where the not-rip-off jerky lives
not to change the subject or anything, but Frank Rizzo was a cop, then police commissioner, and finally mayor in Philadelphia.
just in case anyone’s interested.

At the corner of ‘Shoot your own cow/deer/pig/fish/alligator/ostrich/boar’ and ‘jerk-a-fy it yourself’ xD.
Ok… for the love of god, someone buy out the jerky and lets get back to WINE!
last batch I got of this was EXTREMELY moist.
Woot -
Please place the remaining jerky in a dumpster and call it a loss. This has to be the 5th woot-off in a row that it has stayed up way too long while you could be selling stuff people want.
-The guy who spends way too much money on this site

What did you eat? The A&Z, Costco’s, or this Krave stuff?

Yeah, it’s completely safe. It’s literally like 20 feet from the 60 freeway, so you don’t really have to do much driving into the area.
this stuff. rpm tour gift from WD!
