So it works as both an external drive for a computer and also a player for a TV?
This model is made for use with a TV - It lacks the connectivity for use with a typical desktop or laptop PC. And the presence of apps means that it is meant to run on its own software, as a standalone device.
Hope that helps.
So is it “used” or “renewed”? Those are two different things. “Used” is typically something you buy at a yard sale or on eBay. “Renewed”, one would hope, is factory reconditioned.
I think “Renewed” is Amazon speak for refurbished, which is what Woot listed it as under the price.
You’re covered by the holiday policy if it’s yard-sale-ed.
I should add that to my clipboard.
@pepper114 is correct. Amazon uses “Renewed” instead of “Refurbished”.
These are being obtained from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon:
Yeah, I figured that. I meant more that here, in the forums, the title says “used” as opposed to the “renewed” it’s listed as in the Shop.
Just me being a smartass ![]()
Better a smartass than a dumbass i say…
