FYI, the 42" model [Amazon] has two legs towards the sides (not what Woot has pictured, fyi @ThunderThighs, illustrations are for 65" model)… clearly designed that someone can use as a monitor and pass keyboard/mouse cables underneath … maybe even a 2023 Mac Mini (I haven’t measured).
I’m sorely tempted, as I always am … connect a Mac, set to 1920x1080, and you’ve got a lovely screen for your work and fun. I’m just skeptical of WHO has refurbished and what condition this truly is in. Maybe a Woot person can dig deeper for us,… or it sells out too fast.
Edit: hmmm, 42" Samsung S90D is tempting too. And THAT one IS factory reconditioned. 
I have the previous gen C2 42” OLED panel at my desk (on a heavy duty monitor arm), and it is one of a couple displays that I have connected to my M1 Mac Studio - It is a very nice combination for some photo editing, as well as audio work (just a hobby)… I also have a gaming PC hooked up, which benefits from the 4K 120Hz, with G-Sync.
I would recommend this more for a scaled use, but perhaps not down to 1080p, since that is awfully chunky at this size. However, I would also caveat the recommendation with the suggestion that as a monitor, you would likely do best if it is set back quite far from your head, your keyboard, etc. Too close, and it gets uncomfortably big, requiring a lot of head turning to see it all. I have mine at about a full arm’s length back from me, which has ended up being decently comfortable. Takes some adjustment, but it is a beautiful display, and much cheaper than some of the brighter, and far more expensive 32” OLED monitors these days.

Yep, I tried out the 42" C2 in October 2022 and based on that lovely image with an Apple TV Aerial screensavers on it, overhauled my living room setup and bought the 83" C2. Have connected a Mac Mini and Macbook Air (M2) to it, and it’s oh SO nice to work with.
