Logitech Cordless Action Controller for PlayStation2 – 2 Pack

Has anyone heard anything from Woot on this?
I e-mailed yesterday and have not received a reply.
I thought all of this stuff was in stock and ready to go, why are these items taking so long?

Well, it’s Friday a.m., over a week since the Woot Off! and still nothing. Just checked my account and all it shows is that Woot has charged my credit card. No shipping information ! Is this normal, or is it that this was a Woot Off item ?

I received two non-WO items before this one, both yesterday in fact, and many claim they’ve received other WO items before any of the other Logitech items. I wonder if we can blame Logitech for this, which I hate to do, because I like them. :frowning:

I received my two controllers Thurs 06/15 out in CA…never got a tracking number though…

Did you receive an e-mail that it had shipped, or notification on your account?

Yep… Received my other two Woot-Off items (the Roomba and Razor Mouse)… received tracking numbers for both.

Not a word on the controllers yet, and I did send an email to them. No response.

Anyone else?

Just got this from the Woot Service guys:

“I apologize for the delay in responding. I have found that the problem with your order(s) is that there is an issue with uploading the tracking info to the website. Your order(s) is in transit to you, and you should be receiving it very soon. Again, i apologize for the delay in responding.”

So maybe we will get them before Duke Nukem Forever. Wonder which address mine will show up at. :slight_smile:

No news for me. Woot let’s go, 8 days is a little much isn’t it?

I still find it a little odd that the rest of the Woot-off items have shipped, and it’s just this item and the other logitech stuff that we’ve had no word on. Or am I misunderstanding?

P.S. This is not a good start to my buying career on Woot! This is my first woot and it’s been over a week and no word? Bad Karma, Woot! guys.

The woot guys are good at getting products out, especially when you consider the sipping practices of other internet retailers. I have purchased several things from woot in the past and have yet to be disappointed!

PS: I have yet to receive my controllers as well.

It would be better if the rest of the items hadn’t shipped too? :slight_smile: The fact that everything having problems is from one company actually makes this ring truer to me. Also unless I’m misunderstanding the e-mail, it states that this is in transit. Meaning it has been shipped, and that they’re working on the tracking number thing separately. I’d love to know exactly where mine are, but given a choice between waiting to ship until they can get the tracking numbers updated on the site or shipping them and dealing with the tracking numbers separately… Well I’d choose the latter.

Someone above also mentioned that they had received theirs. So unless I don’t get mine in the next couple of business days, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. BTW this was my first woot too. I’ve since made 2 other purchases, one of which I have now received and another which shipped today.

I don’t buy the “problems with uploading a tracking number” line. They don’t have problems with the tracking number on anything else I have ordered, including items after the woot off that have already arrived. There’s something else going on with these items. Maybe I’ll get them before the ps3 is out and I buy one of them.

I got the problem uploading tracking info response too. I then asked them for a tracking number via e-mail, but they said they couldn’t do that either.

Same here, but i just got a second email from them saying it appears to be fixed. Mine is scheduled to be delivered on 6/20.

i just got mine today and never got a shipping email. one in a box and one not so in a box :smiley:

My guess would be that they were shipped by whomever woot agreed to sell them for, not from the woot location in TX. The shipper was probably supposed to send a file that tied all of the woot order #s to a tracking #. Either they haven’t sent the file, or there’s some issue with the data that’s preventing woot from pulling it back into their database.

Just got my email letting me know tracking number. It is shipped from Calif and didn’t ship until the 14th, wont be here until the 21st.
Must be a drop-ship situation.

Having just gotten a confirmation e-mail, it appears they went through a completely different process with this. (Note: this is just mine, maybe someone else’s is different.)

  1. It has a UPS tracking number. From what I understand, w00t typically uses Fed Ex, so I can understand why that would cause issues.
  2. It appears they probably still have an issue with getting it into the system as it doesn’t show up under “Your Account”. Given that normally they have the link point to FedEx and they would have to add additional programming to point to UPS (or not to point to anything), not to mention something that indicates it is UPS vs. Fed Ex among other things, that’s understandable.
  3. It is shipping out of Sunnyvale, CA. So it looks like it’s not w00t who is shipping this one, and most likely Logitech themselves. And it looks like w00t gave them the information several days ago as I updated my address at the beginning of the week, and these are going to the address I had in there before that. Which ends up not being a big deal because they’ll still get here before I move.
  4. Shipping is still $5. :slight_smile:

Got my confirmation email this morning, scheduled for delivery on the 20th via UPS. Nothing about the origin so far as I can tell but if they’re sending from CA to TX then that would account for the delay from the time I usually get (Woot for living in Carrollton…)

Yay! Woot has shipped! UPS will be here on the 20th!! That means it will be here before NCAA 07!!!
