picked these up during the last woot off. work great and for $25 you can’t go wrong.
I bought a pair of these during the last Woot off. Buyer be warned. There’s no quality control when Woot ships these controllers out. Some Wooters got controllers that were like new, some other Wooters (like me) got either malfunctioning controllers or controllers that were covered in crumbs and crud.
Buying these refurbushed controllers is like playing a lottery…you never know what you’re going to get.
Don’t believe me? Check out the PS2 Controller comments from the last Woot off.
Great deal for these excellent controllers. I Wooted tonight.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! I was so pissed that I missed these the last time around. I still play my PS2 on a regular basis- I’ve been behind for a few years on console games! God of War has been awesome, and I need to catch up on all the Final Fantasy games and Gran Turismo. There’s nothing like buying all the best games from a year or two ago for less than $20 apiece!
I have one of these – I paid more for it than the two-pack – and I love it. I jumped at the chance to get more. I’ve had no problem using the controller around all sorts of potential interference.
ya i bought one of these for 40 + tax at frys and it is sick.
i am picky too about playing games like stret fighter and tony hawk…and i can’t complain about these. copped.
Yes, it works fine with all versions of Playstations and PS2’s. I also have a PSX to USB adapter for my PC, and it works fine with that as well.
Um, “trailer”?
Woot reaches all, I suppose.
My techoactive money spending friend, can I get all the junk you are not using cause you upgraded? I am an imigrant from a third world country and will respect it much !
Yes they rumble, the rumble on the referb one that I have already is much stronger than the rumble on my regular controller. It makes the batteries go faster, but for me they still last quite a long time.
My first woot purchase, for my darling nephew so his brother and sister will quit tripping over the cord. ![]()
if this was 2 years ago, id get it. With the ps3 coming out november 17th, and those are gonna be wireless…i dont need these. Im happy with my corded controllers thank you. Plus, do these fit in the PS2 slim? my old wirless didnt…
Don’t look down on it- if you’re in a city with very few decent income jobs available (east Texas, where I am), most of your workforce lives in trailer homes. I personally don’t, but most of the people I work with do- and they’re all decent wonderful people- and yes, most with internet access too. ![]()
Perhaps he uses it for traveling (that was their original intent, was it not?)
There are 113 reviews over at Amazon for this controller. I bought one a little while back and have used it a few times. It seems to work great except for about 30 seconds when the X button stopped working. This is something that I have heard is a problem with this controller - check the reviews. I haven’t used mine enough to know how big a problem that will be. The controller seems to keep signal very well, has the dualshock function (which will cause the batteries to be used up quicker), has a nice feel to the joysticks and buttons. I only paid $8.95 + $5 shipping for mine (one controller only), but they are going for $32 each on Amazon. I think this is a good price for what you are getting.
Logitech is the only brand of wireless controller I’d buy!
These are INCREDIBLE controllers… buy 'em! I have two and they works for months on the batteries in them.
Now… I gotta dump my two wireless headsets for Xbox, thought they were for Xbox360. Duh? ![]()
Sickwoot…what do you mean by " it is sick " ???
Logitech’s are the best for PS2/Xbox (obviously these are the ps2 ones) Pelican’s were the best for the gamecube. Price in most retail stores = 40 bucks new, so your getting quite the steal here.
