It says keyboard of your choice, guess im dumb… But i don’t see where you choose the keyboard

I was interpreting that to mean that it’s your choice of specs for the Surface, and that everybody would get the same Microsoft Surface Type Cover.

Thanks! It says it comes with keyboard of your choice, and since there’s the older model keyboard and then the newer model keyboard called the signature pro with a space embedded in it to charge the newest Slim Pen, and different colors available, i was wondering how you actually choose the one you want (like, all i can do is choose that i want the microsoft surface pro 8, Core i7/16GB/256GB ssd, but dont see any specific details about choosing the keyboard :disappointed:

You’re probably right.
The description states its the keyboard that will fit the new Slim Pen (the keyboard cover actually charges this newer model pen, whereas the old model pen just used special AAAA batteries).
My hesitation comes from how the description’s picture included shows the older version keyboard - with no cutout slot to hold the newest style SlimPen.

I’ve never bought from Woot, so i wasn’t sure if i did buy it, and it came with the wrong older style keyboard, would i be stuck with it.

No. Woot orders have their own return process.

Mine came with a Surface Pro X type cover, which works fine but does NOT include the promised slim pen charging slot. I’ve sent them a note asking if it can be exchanged but expect it is unlikely.
