Microsoft MN-700 Wireless 802.11g 4 Port Router

i know this forum is not really moderated, but can we stop the spamming? that guy has posted several times merely to advertise his referrals.

I have some extra 5650’s, but I also have a very strict no Dell for scammers/spammers policy.

RUN RUN AWAY!!!

I have the MN-500 and DMZ forwards all ports to my machine and I also have port forwarding enabled and forward some ports to the other machines at my home while keeping DMZ on for mine so I doubt the MN-700 doesn’t support the same thing the older version did.

Also, Seth, there are shitty woots all the time just this time you happened to stay up for one.
Don’t think you’re special like my free flat screen.
You are also not special like my free desktop pc
Does that free shit ever work out. Five bucks and you’ll get me to hep u out. Pat
id buy you 5$ via paypal if you signed up under my refferal links and complted an offer…feel free to contact me on aim orvil01

I’ll bet you ten dollars that as soon as you enter your email address you will get slammed with spam and it wil never stop…

No, I posted as usual when I’m on woot, answering questions et cetera and then at the end of my post I put the link. I wouldn’t have done this if I hadn’t seen that JeffWhatever guy posting his site’s link multiple times on here before. Besides, just don’t click on it, I don’t care. Oh, and regarding the fact it’s a pyramid “scam” maybe it’s a pyramid scheme but not a scam since they didn’t scam me out of my free ipod…

HAHAHAHA… Now that is Fact

oops I meant to the other guy

That’s right, that’s why you use another email address for that like walla.com.

Screw Best Buy! They suck ass munch! I call them Best Borrow if they’re the only one that has something first.

Same unit is available at Costco for $37.99 + tax. Not the greatest woot deal, but still good . . . although the MN-700 sucks (I have one, upgrading soon) … and Costco has one of the best customer service policies around!

My $.02 hopes it helps!

Well, I stopped, as I said above, since nobody told that annoying Jeff guy to stop I did it as well… please?

Yes they have, as well as Snapster though in a nicer less direct way.

Wireless routers are around this price all the time. Just 802.11b models though.

You all should do well to stay away from Best Buy. They repackage open items/returns and exchanges as new. They do a whole lot more as well, but this isn’t excatly the right place to talk about it.

Decent buy on this router, but I have the DI-624 already which is nicer I think. Next woot! please. :

yah right…there is NO possible way you are getting those speeds at that distance, especially with this thing. it’s pretty much impossible to get a full 54mb/s even from less than five feet away, let alone 50 ft through a maze of walls. factor in any 2.4 ghz phones, microwaves, cell phones or any other type of interference, and you’d be lucky to get any more than 5 or 6 mb/s, which is still plenty of speed for a cable connection, but you’re not gonna be streaming dvd-quality video very well over your lan.

Yeah I bought a DVD player from them for $80 a while back that was suppose to support SVCD and basically most of the video formats. It did not. Ithought something was wrong with it so I called Samsung who told me that this DVD player is not supposed to play SVCD’s and that I should sue Best Buy for false advertising

I have one of this AP with Microsoft Wireless Cards. To most people, it sucks. But to me, it is an excellent products for IT professional because this unit is very hard to set up. You can learn a lot of things when try to ge this thing to work.

An excellent product if you want to learn wireless networking from the beginning because school does not teach this at all. Highly recommend. Bravo!

I LIKE MICROSOFT!

whoa whoa shhh…listen, i don’t mind M$ either, but i wouldn’t go around announcing it to everybody…you get beat up for stuff like that. keep it on the DL bro…

I finally broke down and bought one. First woot! purchase (second try after woot! screwed me on some speakers…) I’ve got a laptop coming and I was just going to keep it wired to the LAN, but now I won’t have to  .

Not a flaming hot deal, but this is about as low as G routers get. Also, all the reviews i’ve read for this one said the range was outstanding (up to ~200 feet!)

Happy woot!ing!
