So glad I bought it when WOOT offered it in April! Excellent value!
I popped for 2 today. Hope both codes go through.
I"m a little confused. Is this for a full versions of office? Is a subscription required?
Hi there - it’s not a subscription, and it does contain the classic versions of Microsoft Office. Here’s an Amazon review I found to be helpful:
If you reformat your computer and want to move this, you MUST deactivate office first. MS support won’t be able to help you if you do not deactivate. The title “for one PC” doesn’t mean one ever, they’re more then happy to wave the magic wand that lets you install to a different or new PC, but only if the previous install has been deactivated. If you leave it in an activated state though you’re SOL, they can’t do that part on their end.
I bought this today for $25.99, then looked around and found the exact same package for $20 or less at multiple sites. So much for Woot “deals”. Including Walmart at $16.59! Disappointed with Woot. Trusted you guys.
Share links. Maybe Woot can try to lower their price.
Yes please share the links and I’ll let our team know - thank you!
Walmart $16.59
Groupon, $19.99
Walmart/gosoftware $15.99
ok, my bad. It looks like the Walmart versions (with the same name!) are a little different and missing a couple programs I wouldn’t need anyway.
**** But Groupon, looks the same as you’re selling, but for only $19.99. ****
FWIW, This is a copy of the post I wrote after installing mine in April, quite a few people responded that they found it helpful so I’m reposting it here:
"Today, Easter Sunday, I received the email w/tracking no. (Auth. Code) from WOOT and installed the suite successfully on WIN 11 Home without any issues! I had to paste the URL [in Chrome] from the link in the instructions (the instructions linked in this product listing) and received a message that I would be downloading from a non-secure site and selected to accept download. Took about 15 min. to download and install the app. Right-clicking on the downloaded file, selecting “mount” and selecting “Open” created a DVD Drive, E: on my PC. Running “setup.exe” showed the suite downloading from Microsoft, which took a few minutes. Opened “WORD” per the instructions and entered the tracking number (Auth. Code) from the WOOT email and received a message from “Microsoft” to close the app and open any of the suite apps to finish. Right-click on the drive and select “Eject” and, all done. I’ve opened each suite app without issue, typed a short doc in WORD and saved locally and to One Drive successfully. Each opened app shows my name as registered owner in the upper right of the screen. GOOD DEAL! I didn’t see anyone posting re: install process, hope mine will ease minds in making a purchase decision. And to all who buy… Best of Luck!
FYI, I was logged into my Microsoft account while installing this suite. I don’t know if that’s necessary. I just automatically have my PC log into my Microsoft account when I boot Windows."
My first code worked well AND it includes Publisher!!! I will have to share the second code with a “friend” now that I know it works! Awesome deal, even if it isnt supported after October 2025 as some folks indicate.
Ya, I hear “Publisher” is being, or already is, being discontinued! So this would be a good get for anyone who uses/needs/wants it.
Some vendors are selling grey market licenses. They’re not really meant to be resold by resellers, although they will work.
I’m sure the Woot offering is aboveboard and safe. Worth the extra ten dollars, imho.
Ditto!
I cannot get a download screen to pop up what do I do???
Follow the directions here:
It is not typical program download. It’s an image file. Follow the directions exactly.
Just ordered one. Delivery says 8/18, which seems kinda long for an email. I’ll probably get the bug spray I also ordered sooner than that. Anyone have experience with how long it takes to get your license?
