I was going to make a joke about Post Mongering being devoid of culture, LOL - but we have had quite a few of the Great Works quoted now, so there actually is a lot of culture if you can get past the rest…

Post Mongering is when davejlives starts a thread, and for every xxx number of comments (has been 500 to 1000 in the past), he will send out a “piece-of-junk from his desk” (prize) to a random person who posted in the thread. Could be something good, could be a murder vacuum filled with mystery hair, or a can of beans…

Thanks! I read some of the intro posts to the threads and still felt confused. So its basically a hang-out place with various door prizes drawn intermittently. And the more you hang out and chat (even if its devoid of culture ) the better your chance of getting a door prize.

It’s quite fast paced, sometimes gibberish, sometime poetry, and lots of fun
