As another big-header, I was having similar difficulties. Will need to try out the “wear upside-down” method.
The quality of the sound and their utility when making phone calls was pretty good for a relatively inexpensive bluetooth set.
bf has a pair of these, and loves them. works great for his iPhone for music and talking. Picks up a bit of background noise though
