I have the 2022 version and it’s a pretty nice phone. I would imagine this is much of the same. Way less pre-installed software than the bloatware on Samsung phones. (Seriously, Samsung, why do you literally duplicate every Android app? Just make your own OS and be done with it!)
Is this open box from Motorola or an open box from a carrier?
Motorola says the phone supports US Cellular, but the description for this does not. This listing says to see images for carrier details, but there is but only one image.
According to Motorola:
U.S. Cellular - Compatible & supports 5G Sub6 NSA, VoLTE, WiFi Calling
In this listing the description says:
Does not support: Boost, U.S. Cellular, Ting, Xfinity Wireless, Optimum Mobile. For all carrier compatibility details - please check the product images in detail.
Is this the same exact item but in clearance? It’s got the same description.

With respect to the one you identified from the mothership, this confirms my suspicions. It is most likely a ‘open box unit from a Verizon store’ with several non-carrier locks still in place; which is different from being ‘open box unit from Motorola’ allowing full customization of Android (e.g. the right to ‘brick’ it 
)

The 2022 successor identifies as ships and sold by Amazon. That is what I original meant to ask - that it was from a Motorola storefront with not having been a carrier model at any point.
