Yep. Nothing like a dead battery standing between you and you firearm when your life is on the line and time is of the essence. 
It also uses a physical key and has a USB-C input for emergency power in case the battery dies.

Yeah, I saw the USB input, but I don’t know any criminals who are going to respond in the affirmative to “ummm…well, shoot! The battery in my gun safe has expired. Would you be so kind as to hang out for a few minutes while I go locate a USB-C charger so I can retrieve my firearm? I’m sure we can get this all resolved poste haste upon my return.” 
As for the physical key… I didn’t see that. Is that an OR key or a lock out key? Meaning… does that physical key override the electronics or does it prevent opening even with a valid electronic input? I have seen safes where the key just prevents opening even with a valid electronic combination. It doesn’t actually bypass the electronics.
Its a backup key, it will physically turn the tumbler and be unlocked. Not sure if this one will turn the other way and relock, but some [ like my lifepod] are only for the emergency unlock. I keep one on my keyring and another close to the safe only accessible by my wife and i in seconds flat.

It has a battery indicator on the display. Check that every time you use it and you’ll never be surprised by a low battery. Very easy to use manual key too.
Dead battery is a very low risk for what is gained by securing the firearm.
I had a problem with my original safe. This was reported via email and a replacement was quickly sent in a very courteous and professional way. I didn’t even have to return the defective safe. I am very impressed with this business and would definitely buy from them again.
