I’m going to scream. I’m been watching woot for over a year with only 2 items on my wishlist: BOC & Speakers. I have missed them EVERY SINGLE TIME. Tonight I had a set of speakers reserved and low and behold there was an ‘error’ with my credit card so I lost them. Last BOC I missed by 1 minute. 2 BOC’s before that the servers crashed. Speakers before that sold out before my computer could get though. I’m going to scream.
Well…time to wait another 2 months before I get my shot at both again. sigh…

I hit buy it, and the server is so slow it didn’t go through. Sigh. But thanks to woot…its my birthday and I get a woot-off! Thats a pretty cool present…unless you count any money I spend
But, if anyone doesn’t want their speakers, I’d really like to buy them (I’ve been looking for speakers for a while now). PM me if you would be willing to sell (and a price)
So, do you use the ‘Refurbished bandwidth’ you advertise for on your site to actually run it, or do you build your servers from the refurbs you guys sell?
I would have liked to purchase one of these, but your Kmart servers are so piss poor slow that I couldn’t even get the purchasing page to load before they sold out. I have a 6Mbps down connection and every other page on t3h int4rw3b loads lightning fast except the one I’d like to give money too.
Try using the $200k an hour woot wage to upgrade your servers/hosting PLEASE.

At least you were able to get to that page. Why do I see the ‘I want one’ bounce? Instead of refreshing that graphic, I should have been sent to the purchasing page. I had 5 browser windows open and could not get through even though I started right at 12:59 (EST).
I haven’t purchased much through woot! even though there have been items I wanted. They either sell out in 4 minutes or if I am able to stay up, the server is so slammed I can’t get through. There has got to be some trick, how do some people not only get through to the purchasing page but then get their order submitted without the severe lag?
Tonight’s experience, along with the Blue Oyster Cult from the other night is just about enough to make me give up on woot.com.
I will probably check in the morning occassionaly, but waiting up hoping they put something out I really want and continuously get booted by their servers when I actually try to buy it is just too much punishment for me.
GEEEE Whizzzz…that was fast. I hit the go button and thought I had it made. The page hung there like it was frozen in time, I guess it was. I received the sold out mssg.
I got these at the last woot-off, and coincidentally a friend also got a box of them for me. My box is sitting un-opened (OK, opened, but never removed from said box) in my closet.
I know there are several woot-swap sites, where should I go to provide my extra mystery speakers to an interested wooter?
