Just bought a VertuoPlus during Prime Day for around $110 +tax. This is a lot cheaper, although it’s refurbished. Anyone have thoughts on this one (over the Plus)? I am just going to take it to work so I have a quick way to make coffee… Should I return the Plus and get this one and save a few bucks or is it not worth it being that it’s a refurb?

I bought Vertuo Next deluxe here. It’s a refurb and i haven’t had any problems. This is half the price i paid. The capsules are pricey but you can find some deals a d Nespresso always gives you free sruff. I’ve gotten 2 sets of mugs and a few free sleeves.

I have a veruto plus. I do like mine a lot, it makes.great coffee. You can save the pods and refill them. We have several places in town to buy green coffee. If you are feeling adventurous try roasting some of your own. It can be addicting. Refilling the little buggers takes practice. Took a while to get the grind, tamping and capping together to make good home made pods. I look for the nespresso pods on Woot! when they occaisionally appear. Yum.

One of these days! I bought a thrifted Behmor 1600 a while back already, but still haven’t taken the plunge.

I’m still using a popcorn popper.

Do it! You will wonder why you didn’t get roasting before. Make sure to pay attention to the “crack” for your favorite roast. It is just deadly stuff. I don’t think people realize how easy it is and the coffee is addicting! If I don’t make enough ahead or we drink more than ususal on a particular day it is hard to drink other pre-roasted beans, while waiting for the new batch to de-gas. I am excited for you!

Never tried an air popper. I heard they work well. I have always been tempted to splurge on a roaster, but the tightwad in me rebells. I am still using my mom’s cast iron pan. I have done it that way so long, I am afraid to screw it up doing it with other equipment. Isn’t it delicious?!?

The Next machines have a lot of issues, from leaking to grounds in the coffee…

Before you buy, I’d take a look at r/Nespresso to see if it’s worth your time trying it.

I originally had a Next for maybe a month before I contacted Nespresso and switched it out for a Plus. Mine barely closed and I had a lot of grounds in my cup every brew.

I haven’t had any issues with my Plus and I’m obsessed with how good the coffee is. It’s cured me of an expensive Starbucks habit annnnd it just makes me feel fancy every morning.

Their customer service is also super nice and they video called me as we tried to fix the Next before the operator offered me an upgrade to the Plus.

Under $70!! The very definition of “NO BRAINER”! The “footprint” is worth the investment. Nespresso Vertuo addict for five years. Damn right I ordered this one.

Good price but Costco includes the frother, 42 capsules, descaler kit and 35 nespessso credit so essentially getting the Vertuo Next for free.

Would nespresso warranty still be eligible?

Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty

You could always buy the warranty on Amazon. I think the brand is Assurion.

Whats does it mean refurbished? Used and then returned? Or open box?

Got a link? Searching Nespresso on Costco website had no results.

It means it was returned due some defect and the defect was repaired by either the company or someone authorized to refurbish the item.

Hi there, the below is a link to the Woot item condition glossary.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
