Who, exactly, provides the warranty? How, exactly, is it limited?

“2 Year Limited 3rd Party Warranty” that links to a weird JPG image is not very assuring. Details, please.

Yes, that warranty image makes me want to STOP | ALTO!

Call 'em and ask.

I hope that’s sarcasm on your part. I don’t think it’s too much for Woot to give basic warranty details - or maybe they’re withholding them for some reason?

Does the mysterious 2 year limited warranty mean there is no manufacturers 1 year warranty?

Correct.

Any way we can see the warranty details?

I asked about an hour ago. Waiting on a response.

Did anyone get a response about the warranty?
Interested but would like to know more myself.

No, no response yet.

Did you try calling the number?

So…
…

…

I guess they never answered?

It’s interesting that someone did go in and edit the description so now it has a text box to call the number, rather than the blurry .jpg that was there before.

Buy it direct from LG for 3 dollars more to avoid the warranty issues.

There’s an additional $200 discount from Woot at checkout.

My guess: Woot got these either through the grey market (parallel import) or from an authorized retailer who needed to dump a bunch of excess inventory. Either way, LG won’t honor the US manufacturer’s warranty, so Woot had to go out and buy warranty coverage from some third party of unknown (to us) repute

Am I crazy or does it not say that it’s covered by the manufacturer’s limited 1 year warranty? So is it or isn’t it? Lol
