Chief? Seems like a steal considering it is $180 on Am*zon but not sure if that is a crazy over inflated price there.

The camel says it had an all time low on Amazon of $88, so this def seems like a good one. Considering how many people are buying 3 of them, seems like the resellers know it…

I’ve never used this particular model but I haven’t had good luck with Nuwave induction cooktops. I didn’t have a stove where I used to live and used Nuwave cooktops for several years. They all ended up dying and needing to be replaced within a couple of years. I ended up switching to another brand (Duxtop) that worked much better overall.

Your mileage may vary. That was just my experience. This does seem like a good price so if you don’t have reason to use it a lot, it might work fine.

Thanks! For $30 I might as well give it a go - if I do get a few years of use like you say I’d be happy with it. Current stove is the worlds most uneven electric, so this will be a nice holdover until I can afford a new one.

Selling for $100 on the mothership.

You have too use certain pots and pans with induction cooking. Cast Iron, and glass cookware only, NO ceramic or aluminum cookware. Induction cooking uses electro magnetic energy for heating. Be sure to calculate needed cookware expenses if you don’t have the correct pots and pans.

Ordered 2, received 1 defective
Self return doesn’t work and when contacting CS about any issues like incorrect item, used or eefuebished item sold as new, or damaged defective items they expect us to pay return ship and insurance and proof of delivery which in general costs between much of to more than cost of item.

Following up after 1 month to say I absolutely love this thing, and regret not doing this sooner. Heats up pans twice as fast as my crappy electric range and there is a night and day difference in temperature control. We use it daily and have hardly touched the normal range since. I only wish it had a bit more power, 1500W wouldn’t break most kitchen breakers and would give a bit more “oomph” to heat up even faster than this at 1300W.
