See it from HSN - tons of great reviews

Great reviews (4.7 out of 5.0) over at hsn.com

Any info on the gauge of the metal? Also, the stainless steel version looks more like industrial gray.

Got it for $84.75 shipped from hsn.com with coupon code 20OFF2013.

Do the wheels lock? I’d hate to be working on something with a serrated knife and having this thing moving back and forth on its wheels while I’m “sawing”.

I watched the video and it said the wheels locked, I had the same question.

But… my kitchen is already full of the “regular” Origami shelves. :frowning:

I don’t see anywhere to apply the coopon.

Once you make it to the Order review page you enter it there - this is after entering payment info and before confirming your order.

Does this stay upright/stable on the rollers when it’s collapsed? It look quite tippy.

Agree with the color comment. It’s not stainless, it’s looks like hammer-finish pewter grey.

Look at the color difference in the cart and bolt heads - the bolts are stainless.

Why does the cart have wheels in some of the pictures and not in others?

It does not say it is stainless steel, the color choice is stainless(gray).

I like how the pictures really try to make it look like it is a solid 2" butcher block instead of a 3/4" panel with a 2 inch skirt glued to the outside.

The video from lichme shows the underside.

Still, for the price, it looks to be a very nice piece. I would love to see something about twice as long I could use it in the shop.

I was thinking the same thing. This would make a great work-bench for a small townhouse/condo. Don’t need a big one as most chores are already covered. Could revert to its intended purpose when necessary. I also have a tabletop gas BBQ. This would make a great base for it.

RE: The color

That’s the names the vendor gave us. On the Origami Rack site, they call it Silver. Not sure that’s any better.

Vendor photos. You can put the wheels on or not, I reckon.
