While this is listed as a “midi cable” the device end connector is the original USB-1 / USB-2 “device connector” that USB interfaced printers, scanners, and most thing that were made under the original USB specs used. Actually works better for my Brother sheet-fed portable scanner than the one proffered by Brother… But then again so do the generic Amazon brand USB device cables.
