Nice yard!
Looks good! Where did you find the table?
These are easily assembled in 10 minutes and appear to be decent quality. Of course only time in the sun will tell. I ordered three brown ones on two occasions and only one was damaged in shipping despite a very styrofoam intense package. Woot customer service gave me three options and I chose to repair one broken slat in the seat myself for a fair credit. I did using cyanoacrylic and resin glue, clamped and then sanded to a smooth finish. That’s where I was a little surprised at how easy the sanding was with the included sanding block. The material seems softer than expected so there may be some surface weathering that’s normally expected that is easily rectified with the included sanding block. Again, time will tell. Aside, I’ve also tried wood Adirondack chairs and stained myself every couple years and they still find ways to deteriorate to the point they’re not worth my time to keep repairing and staining at $75 each new. These are double that and no staining should ever be required so I think that’s a great trade off!
To those who have these chairs, what is the surface texture like? I bought a different brand (“POLYWOOD”) a few years back from Amazon, but ended up returning because i thought the surface texture was weird…had a fake wood grain thing going on whereas I was expecting something more smooth like painted real wood.
It was here on woot. Hiland Propane Hammered Bronze Fire Pit Hiland Propane Hammered Bronze Fire Pit
Thanks. It’s covered in snow again.
The surface is basically smooth but with a porous look and feel. They do not have the fake wood grain that poly wood products have, nor the slick surface. Included with these chairs is a small sanding block which is used to restore the surface presumably after weathering and any scratches or other surface damage.
