Power Practical LED Lantern Kit 10ft

Power Practical LED Lantern Kit 10ft

I was gifted these, pretty cool but even when camping they just seem to sit around for me, not in use.

I have been looking at these type of things for a while, but never actually bought one since they seemed expensive for what they are, basically a USB powered led light strip. I can get a multi-colored, remote controlled, USB powered strip of LED’s for $5-10 depending on length, a power bank for another $5 (or use one of the many I already have), and a bag for another $5, that’s the same price as this but with more. This is just a 10ft strip of white lights and a bag, no power supply, no ability to change colors, this is not a deal to me.

You’re overlooking the built-in magnets and waterproofing, as well as the ties in your pricing comparison, but, ya know, you do you.

I backed these way back when they were on Kickstarter, and I’ve found them to be quite useful and durable - when camping, you can stick them to your car (or camper if you have one with some steel on it) with the magnets to light your camping area, or stuff it in the bag and use it in the tent as a lantern,. I’ve also used it as a shop light in my garage, and while not super bright, still pretty useful, and who doesn’t have a USB power Bank lying around?

I have a back order from October for these exact same lights sold by the exact same company on Amazon. I’d like to know how this company was allowed to sell on woot while not filling their Amazon back orders?

That’s not a question for us. We’re getting them from a 3rd party vendor.

I’m ultra suspicious of this, because they show only the USB light strip and the cloth bag. No photos of the battery, charge method, etc.

Here is the product on the mothership. More info there including a video. Lol at the lights on the dog (screenshot below). I like when woot has the amazon reviews link in their sales because you can always follow the asin (product number) in the link to the mothership sale.

I have these. Used them camping once and for hurricanes twice. Not a bad item for what they are.

I have some of these. After removing the magnets, they are now relegated to my tvs as ambiant back lights plugged into the tv usb port.

That’s not a bag idea for them.
