“200 WATT POWER: The stereo receiver amplifier … gives you 25 Watt at 4 Ohm max power / 20 Watt x 2 at 8 Ohm RMS”
How does it come up with 200 amps?
I have to agree. 20 watts x 2 channels is only 40 watts. Where is the other 160 watts ?
Maybe they are including the power consumption?
That’s a mighty impressive looking piece of gear for thirty five bucks.
I want to like the Pyle hardware, because it’s small and simple… But I’ve bought two pieces from Amazon and they both stopped working within a couple of months. I won’t be fooled again.
I bought one, but not at this price- but I failed to notice that there was NO Headphone jack!
Which made it partially useless for me.
Peak power
Anyone know the physical size of this? Height, width, depth would be nice.
Per Amazon:
Dimensions (L x W x H): 9.8’’ x 9.8’’ x 3.15’’ -inches.
I just received my Pyle unit today. It was in a factory looking sealed box, but the screen is all scratched up, there are dirty fingerprints on it, it’s dusty and smelly. This is sold and advertised as “NEW”! What gives? Not even sure if it’s a refurb or just a straight up returned item.
Send that sucker back.
Someone must have sent the wrong item. Customer service will have options for you.

Thanks for the reply! Furthermore, I just tested it, the left channel just buzzes and outputs at a super low volume. I’d say it’s definitely a return or something that is broken. I’d really love to have a working receiver at this great price, so hopefully a replacement is possible!
Bought this to power outdoor speakers. The Bluetooth range is very limited. I can’t sit on my front porch (20 feet away) and stream Apple Music from my IPhone. The remote will not allow you to turn on BT function. The remote is useless. I have to reset BT every time I shut the amplifier off.
I’m waiting for a reply from Pyle. My call was dropped every time I tried to speak with someone. I called at least 5 times. I’m very unhappy!!

I remember Pyle from the late 80s and 90s. I see they are still sold at Wally World types. I thought people still knew about them too, but I see some people actually bought some. I guess they’ll know now too.
Same here. The size and simplicity is very attractive to me, but I have bought a few Pyle items off Amazon, and they have all failed.
