QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling Headphones

The refurb has nothing to do with fragility. These phones are not fragile, and come with a fitted case. Fold them carefully, keep them away from 14 year olds, and treat them with the care something worth hundreds of dollars deserves. Should be no problems. I haven’t noticed anything inherently fragile, and some folks I know have used them for travel for years, with no issues. In my experience with headphones, the most likely area of trouble will be the cable. The fact that these come with a replaceable cable is a real plus. Many headphones do not. Just sayin…

NO, the cable is not 3.5mm on both ends. One end is 2.5mm

The CABLE is intended for functionality on an Apple phone, i.e. using them to answer calls and adjust volume. Your edit is exactly right. You don’t need an adapter, but if you use one instead of a new cable, make sure the 2.5mm end is small enough to fit into the headphone cable opening. It is kind of small, and many aftermarket cables will be too thick. That is also the 2.5mm end, so maybe any cable with 2.5mm ends will have a small enough diameter.

Yes, they will fit any device that uses a 3.5mm end. You can also use an adapter to fit into a larger opening such as a CD player output or stereo output. They just click over the 3.5mm to make it larger.

Do these come with the Bose warranty?

woot “limited” 90 day warranty.

Not true. The qc35 can operate as a regular wired headphone and includes both a cable and the airline dual adapter.

I find it odd that people are just finding this out. There are few Android headsets with volume buttons or forward and back and I think it has to do with patents. Android headsets usually have 1 button and it’s only used for answering calls, pause/play, double tap for forward and long press for bringing up Google search.I think they do exist now but I looked for a pair 2 years ago and had a tough time. It’s either a patent issue or the fact that it’s easier to make something for iPhone because they are made by one company instead of dozens like Android.

Why do you send me an email notification…Wed 11/23/2016 10:25 PM… for headphones that were on special on 11/22/2016. I thought I would buy a pair but as I navigate through your pages they are nowhere to be found.
very disappointing.

Sorry about that. It sounds like maybe our email was delayed. Please let us know if it happens again.
