Outrageous pricing for non-prescription sunglasses. Thank Luxottica for gouging everyone.
$89 sunglasses on Woot? Not Wootian. Did the decimal get misplaced?
The description does not include the most important piece. The lens. Plastic or crystal. Glass crystal is the only way to go for me. It is optically perfect and stays that way.
Man, I wish the Wayfarers were size 55!
So close, yet so far!
Hey Woot! Throw some 55’s on for a screaming Woot price!
All are Crystal. Sale is being updated.
These are normally at least 150 anywhere else.
How much do you think Ray Bans cost?
They are very high quality, made in Italy glasses.
What are the lens colors? I don’t necessarily trust the images…
I was just looking at some of these online yesterday and it said these were not polarized. Are these actually polarized?
They come in various lens types of which Polarized is an option:
Are these the same Aviator glasses?
[MOD: Not polarized?]
The picture labeled cockpit aviators is a pic of classic aviators in gunmetal. Are you selling cockpit aviators or classic aviators in gunmetal?
Thanks DigitalVader - $5 cheaper at Wally and free shipping, so actually $10 cheaper. Then, I get $5.62 tax from Woot, $0.00 from Wally, so it’s over $15 cheaper and the Mart of Walls.
It looks like these Ray-Bans are Polarized. Huge difference!
The ones at Walmart are not polarized.
Lens color? Looks grey, but it doesn’t say and could be brown, blue, or green.
The ones at Walmart are not polarized at all, these are. So still pretty worth!
I know it’s supposed to be a big difference but the only difference I notice with Polarized is that the back windows of cars look different.
Is it possible to understand the actual models on sale here?
When I look at the black vs tortoise, the pictures of the black model clearly show the “P” on the lense for polarized, and are “originally” priced at $180.
When I look at the picture of the Tortoise, it is either not there, or blurred on the picture where the “P” should be on the lense, and the original price is $150, a difference, and not part of the Ray Ban MSRp pricing structure.
Can you confirm the actual models between the Tortoise and Black for the Wayfarer?
