I would avoid any Rayovac batteries. Bought a box of 72 a couple of years ago. Over half of them leaked and ruined several devices. Trying to get Rayovac to do anything about it is ridiculous, total waste of money and it ended up costing money with all the ruined devices. 2 minimag flashlights, a wall clock, a voltmeter and 2 TV remotes to just name a few that were ruined.
I second this. Though, I have not run into problems with HIGH USAGE items like TV remotes. Just with things that are not used every day like flashlights and anything else that is not used multiple times a day every single day. I mean I even tried turning on a flashlight for a second every few days and that still did not work. I will NEVER EVER buy this brand again even for my remotes.
I call them Ray O crap. And yea major issue with leaking.
Same bad experience- bought Woot Rayovac AA and AAA’s and within months 1/2 of them leaked, ruining a clock, remote controls, flashlights etc. so my “awesome deal” on batteries trashed over $150 in stuff. Rayovac ( an Energizer brand) had me fill forms send pics, resend pics ( their servers demand special file sizing), resubmit more forms and in the end denied any fault. DO NOT BUY THESE
