Razer Protone m250 Street-Style Clip Earphones

Bought these off sellout a few weeks ago. So much better than those stupid earbuds! They stay on my ears, play with a full bass, and really enhancing my listening experience. TOTALLY worth the price, highly recommend.

I think I’ll pass tonight. The Street Style Clip Earphones are the same as the one’s you get on the airline’s they are some times free or 2.00 each. I have a bunch of them, the sound quality is so so … Have a good night

I’m actually needing a set of headphones for work… but I need ones with in-line volume control. I’m guessing these don’t have that?

I have the Razer m100 and I really liked those. I think these will be somewhat decent too. Would have been in for a few except I prefer in-ear ones.

NEVER put anything in your ear smaller than your elbow.

nooo

Here is a Maximum PC review of these!

I like the Razer m|100’s better, but I’m in for 6 - I have a bunch of mp3 players to give for Christmas and the only decent headphones that come with the player was the Sony NW-S Walkman. These are a better option for kids, because the in-the-ear buds are not good for kids. If people do not like these with the players, they can get their own. They sound good, look great and perhaps even worth more than the price, is the case.

If you are giving any player for a gift (the refurbs and other Woot players - or high end players like the Sony Walkman) Don’t forget to include a case! Most do not come with one - or if they do, they are crap!

The Neoprene case that come with this is first rate! Almost any mp3 player [or flat point & shoot camera) will fit in it. it keeps electronics protected and dry and looks great!

In any electronics/camera shop these cases would go for over $10!

Great ear phones. Last purchased I got them from woot! was $29.99 Case is nice and can fit most small media players/phones if you remove the plane adaper.

The case is definitely GREAT! I put my m100 + ipod nano + my flash drive into it. I never have to go digging trying to figure out where everything was located.

I have small ears (I’m a five foot tall woman, so small ears are to be expected), and these types of earphones are best for me.

Question: Is $15 (total with shipping) a good price on a set of these earphones? It seems like I have bought sets before for like 8 bucks, but maybe I’m wrong . . . or they were doo doo

If over the ear work for you, these are a steal. The case alone is worth the $ -

The few of these that sell go for $5 + shipping on ebay.

with or without ear wax?

I bought these on sellout.woot back in October (feel free to check, you’ll have to go over there first). I usually spend a few hours a day wearing them doing spreadsheets at work. Very lightweight, sound quality is good, actually fairly nice on bass, better than I expected, much better than the last earphones I had been using. There is some sound leakage if you really really crank it up, but at that point you’re just getting silly with the volume. I’ve let one or two people give them a whirl and they liked the sound reproduction too.

These sit pretty comfortably on my ear, and are comfortable enough. I normally prefer in the ear type, so was surprised that I enjoyed these as much as I do. They are NOT noise cancelling at all, so in a noisy enviroment you will have to plan accordingly, but nothing any different than with normal headphones. I have the black ones - the look is cool…if you really dislike the snake logo you could probably cover over it with a sharpie or something. My only gripe is the 4’ cable seems a bit short, but I’ve adjusted to it. Extenders are easy enough to buy, if you need that.

For $15, the best you’re going to get is some cheapo set at Target or WalMart. These are worth ~$40, well worth the Woot price. I’m considering getting another set just to store them for when I wear these out.

I can never get headphones like this to stay on my ears. Suggestions?

Steroids!

KSC75 costs $13.51 from Amazon tonight and is eligible for free shipping. I’d take the KSC75 ahead of Bose Triports but there are better options for under $100. For $50 or less I really love the Koss.

And I was seconds away from Wooting before I saw this-since I have Amazon Prime, not only will it cost less for them, I’ll get them with two day shipping!

Criteria is plural, criterion is singular. Perhaps you meant to say “that’s not my main criterion.”

Right, Mr English teacher, thank you for pointing out my glaring error. I should have used “criterion” rather than criteria…I guess I can thank those government schools for teaching me how to talk good. I apologize immensely for contributing to the continual degradation of American youth.

um, criteria is singular…sort of

From M.W. dictionary:
“The plural criteria has been used as a singular for over half a century…But singular criteria is not uncommon in edited prose, and its use both in speech and writing seems to be increasing. Only time will tell whether it will reach the unquestioned acceptability of agenda.”

For the person who mentioned getting these to stay, as well as the person with small ears, you may like these. The arm that you see has a very relaxed spring that grips to your ears. Not crushing - it’s just enough to hold it on. I’ve found them to stay in even some odd positions (like half on so I could listen to the juicy conversation in the next cube!) without any issue.

Thanks for watching my back, Matt. I owe you.
