With the CO2 regulator, it’s effectively a little kegerator.
The only problem here, unlike a kegerator where the beer is transfered without oxygen (a beer killer), you have to pour directly into the vessel, aerating as you go. Though I suppose if you’ll be quickly carbonating it again, and ostensibly drinking it fairly soon, so the damage should be minimal.
Otherwise, it seems like a decent way to get tap beer in your house, without all the rigamarole of a keg system.
Personally, I like the double-walled can holders. Literally keep the can cold for hours, never fail, and are relatively inexpensive.
