Lets see, you can buy a pack of instant mashed potato’s at the supermarket for, what, $1.00 or less (when on sale). 4 services per pack, this can has 45 servings. $10-11 vs $24. Based on all the freeze dried food I have, I’ll take the smaller packs though I will say I’ve had these potato’s and they taste the same. Don’t forget the powered butter. :wink:

note: Don’t use the price seen on the mother ship for the packs. WAY overpriced.

While I agree with you, ReadyWise food is shelf stable for 25+ years. That is the reason for the price. Personally, I have a mixture of the two. Rotation is the key.

Of course, you could always buy a freeze dryer - https://harvestright.com/product/home-freeze-dryer - and do it yourself. They’re only three grand :man_shrugging:t3:
