The last time I was enjoying one of these a couple of years ago, I pulled out a filling. The filling was holding together a cracked tooth… to make a long story short, I ended up having to have the tooth capped. Major expense (no dental insurance), all because of these wonderful tasting, chocolate coated, very chewy caramels. But I’m old. If you have young healthy teeth, you’ll probably be okay.
I wonder how they would be if you softened them in the microwave for a few seconds… worth risking another filling, or crown? I’ll think about it.
You were gonna need that tooth capped anyway. Buy a bag and get all your teeth up to par.
