Eeeew 128k WMA. I do need a new MP3 player since my iPods battery is dead. Yeah I know I can replace it, but it’s old, scratched, heavy, and big. I have a 1st generation iPod, actually pre-ordered it the day it was announced. I’d buy this woot if I weren’t hoping for a video iPod this December.

I bought this the last time Woot had it on. Works fine, battery lasts a long time. You might want to swap out the earbuds that come with it, they are a little tinny. The face was scratched up around the display, but not on it. Also, there is no sleep function, which would have been nice, but I didn’t know I wanted until I bought this. I think it is a decent deal at $40, they still retail for over $100.
What a disappointment. Like others have said, much better deals (more memory) available in he B&M Black Friday ads.

Hot. Wish I hadn’t just paid a friend off. SD expandable is wootious. I think I’d use the 256 for stuff I always listen to, then use a cardreader to load podcasts and stuff on SD cards for portable stuff.
BTW, I’ve got a Rio Fuse and it’s got decent software- if you dig that kinda thing. Just make sure to give it dummy folders to auto-scan, else it’ll take a few minutes to load.
My only beef is the size, but that’s after getting a look at the nano I bought my mom a week ago. :/. For 60$ or so(40+20ish for SDs) it’s not a bad deal at all.
These are garbage. They are known for button failure, and for cryin out load woot. Come up with somthing new for a change. Sorry for the terets, but I had to get it out. Anyway, there’s a reason so many retailers are dumping these virtually at cost.

I was going to purchase one, because I have never had an MP3 player. I thought it might be time. Thank God I searched for reviews…STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! I’d say 70% of the folks that bought it were not happy. Don’t take my word for it, just google the product name and read the reviews.
Nice Woot! I’m in for 3. After “Froogleing” the little critter, gotta jump on 3 of them! Bought one of the cheapies from Walmart for my kid, 128MB and it is glued to her. This Whoot is much better.

Very dissappointing for Black Friday. I really expected more. I consider refurb to be very slightly better than used. And like others said, there’s a ton of these sealed refurbs going on ebay for $20!
