This is a great iron if you like that sort of thing. It is the least used appliance I own but if you have to iron this is a good one and I paid 89 or 99 buckos for it on amazon about a year ago.

Is yours made in Germany? Because the Q&A on Amazon shows that the boxes currently read “Made in Germany” but the irons themselves say “Made in China”. I’m guessing Rowenta shifted production to China prior to the price drop.
