My mouth is watering… could you please post the White Chocolate/Macademia Nut Bread recipe??? (I always read all the Woot postings, but this is my first time posting! Just the idea of that bread…)
Thanks!
Hey Woody, here’s the recipe I promised:
2 tsp active dry yeast
1 1/2 tsp sugar
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1 tsp dried onion
1 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp dry milk
2 tsp pizza spice
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic salt
3 Tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp tomato sauce
If you don’t want to mess with adding the chopped pepperoni during the mix cycle, just leave them as slices and put them in with the rest of the ingredients. They will tear into bite size pieces just fine.

I’ll only do this if you can control your saliva glands. I don’t want you to fry your new wireless keyboard.
White Chocolate Macadamia Bread
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp margarine or butter
3 cups bread flour
2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
1/2 c chopped macadameia nuts
2 oz white chocolate baking bar chopped or
2 oz white chocolate chips (works best if frozen before adding to mix)
This recipe makes 1-1/2 lb loaf. Bake on white bread cycle.
mmmmm yummy that sounds delish! Thanks rugby! I now have a reason to get my bread machine back out of the cabinet
Think I need to try that pepperoni bread too! ![]()
Oh, one more thing. At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, what exactly is pizza spice?
I had a hard time with pizza spice also. I finally found some that came with a grinder. I haven’t tried the pizza bead yet. I haven’t had my bread maker out in so long that I thought I would try french bread first to make sure it still worked. My bread maker is an old Welbuilt. It has a domed lid and makes a round loaf. My 11 year old was right in the middle of the process. She loves to cook.

Breadmaker? Wrong thread? It sold out two days ago, is relevant to the W00T that was for sale, and you obviously aren’t keeping up with what we have been talking about in this forum. This was not a Photoshop entry, and deliberately did not match any of the 24 choices for the contest so lighten up. I knew what I was doing, like I said, I was bored, and thanks to rugy4me, the family has used up all the yeast and flour in the house. Go back to sleep :!:

Good stuff Woody but be careful about posting all those recipes or we’ll start attracting the Martha Stewart Living crowd. We’ve already got the WSJ folks here. If the MSL crowd shows up we’ll never get in on another BOC.

You know that MSL and WSJ are tight, they talk off-line and buy stock in these products before W00T gets them, then dumps the lot before Petey’s post time :!: LOL

I know you can make Beer Bread, but is there a recipe for Boneless Chickenwing Bread too? Something to dip in hot sauce :?:

You can find it at some of the upscale grocery stores like the fresh market or you can just substitute a pre mixed italian spice.
Nice choice of words you dimwitted mongloid. I’m sure you have a wife. And a little house on the prairie with a picket fence. Just like you have a minimized set of chestnuts between your puny, twiggy legs. You can’t keep up with us, give it up. Your useless.
But no! It’s perfect for the regular weekend spam sandwich

Oh, how very racist of you, peterlessman12. “Dimwitted mongloid.” Although you mispelled it.

How is that racist? Thanks Merriam-Webster. Thanks for pointing out that “mispelled” word. Although you misspelled the very own emphasis in your grammatical crusade of idiocy.
I just opened my earthlink news letter and look what was there. No wonder everything is selling out. I think it’s good for woot, but I want my stuff and at 7:00 am. when I get up. Not at 1:00 am (yes I’m in eastern time zone) ![]()
Woot
Selling the world—1 thing at a time
Woot sells one thing a day, at a discount. Usually something techy/gadgety. Speakers. Video cards. Whatever. Sales start at midnight. Once they’re sold out, they’re done for the day. So get their early or you’ll miss out! The next day, there’s something else for sale. Remarkably simple and amazingly cool.
Woot me, Baby!
ARE YOU GETTING REALLY SICK OF ALL THAT SPAM ?[/size:912aed1fc8]
Spam is unsolicited e-mail pushing a point, be it asking you to visit a web site, or asking you to buy a used PC. If you didn’t ask for it, didn’t join the mailing list, or didn’t put your e-mail address on a web page asking for more information about what they are selling, (and maybe even if you did,) it’s Spam! And its annoying!
Are you ready for the next forum release?
Well are you?
