Samsung 25W USB-C Super Fast Wall Charger

Samsung 25W USB-C Super Fast Wall Charger

Would be nice to get one… have it in the cart, but can’t get to Checkout. :confounded: On two different browsers (Edge/Firefox). cleared cache, cleared cookies… guess I’ll try from work and hope there are still some left
(edit) Clicked “checkout NOW” and that worked, however the large “Proceed to Checkout” button didn’t.
Either way, got my charger so I’m happy now

The cable you need to complete this is $10 on sale right now. Which means the total package is going to cost you $4 more than if you just bought the charger on Amazon. But, if you bought the double pack, and then bought the other 2 cables off Amazon then you would save $3.

I’m not sure if everybody has a Five Below in their town but this is the place to go for cheap charging cables.
I just checked and I saw a usb & usb-c dual wall charger 3.1amp for 5 bucks
I don’t know how much I would trust that thing but it’s only 5 bucks.

I’m a little confused with this one – there’s not enough information mathematically to know what this would fit my needs. I was thinking that these would be good for powering a Raspberry Pi 4 if you needed that “extra punch” as the standard RasPi PS provides 17.5W (3.5 Amps at 5 Volts, Ohm’s law is kinda handy here…), so 25W sounds grrreat! Right?

But… in the description, it’s stated that “The Super Fast charger delivers up to 3 Amp” - so if the charger provides the standard 5 Volts, it’s not a 25W charger, but only 15W (lower wattage than the standard, which can be had for a sawbuck on the mothership - with switching cable). If it is a 25W charger, then at 3 Amps it will provide 8.33~ volts, which will most surely make a RasPi 4 quite unhappy.

Without knowing the output voltage and with the amperage seeming… “wonky” for the claims, I think I will most definitely pass.

It’s not 5v at @ 25w. The different quick charge standards allow the charger and device to negotiate higher power rates, which includes raising the voltage, with 9 and 12v being common for phones. The RasPi 4 does not support the advanced power delivery modes, which is why the 5v amperage is important for it.

I had the same problem of not being able to checkout so I checked Amazon and one was $19.99 with the charge cable. So I ordered one there. Have Prime so I’ll have it tomorrow and was able to use $5.00 promo credit and Amazon gift card. Don’t understand why Woot won’t let you use an Amazon gift card when you have logged in with your Amazon account.

Hi there. We’re trying to trace down intermittent checkout issues. Could you do a couple things for me and report back?

Is there anything in your cart that expired (no longer for sale). If so, could you try removing them?

Could you give me the following info for the devices you’re experiencing the issue:

Device & version
OS & Version
Browser & Version or App & Version

THANK YOU!

Don’t forget to give them the I.T discount

I was confused by this too, back when I got my Note 10 Plus (which supports 45W charging). Here’s a graph that elaborates on what @shockerengr said:

My understanding is that the Note 10+ 45W charger is 10V/4.5A (and it needs a specific cable rated up to 5A), though it doesn’t actually pull the full wattage as it nears a full charge:

:exploding_head:

I’m just gonna trust your math, because I really only need one and don’t wanna go buy a separate cord elsewhere.
Are they only 6 foot cords?

Sorry for the long delay… but there was nothing else in my cart besides this charger. I was using my PC, Firefox v94.01 on Windows 10 21H1

Thanks! They rolled out a fix last week so you should be good now.
