Is the card slot shielded to protect credit cards from being wiped by the phone? We once had to replace a card placed too close to a phone.

No, it specifically states don’t place a CC with chip within slot There’s magnets in that spot as well to keep the view screen from opening easily. I like the view cover and the idea behind it but don’t put cards within it The fear of magnetic failure is very feasible and I rather not experience sucn first hand
