Samsung Note 5 Unlocked Sprint/GSM (S&D)

will this phone work with verizon?

We can only guarantee that it will work with Sprint; AT&T; and T-Mobile.

What am I missing here? $196.99 for a new one, one year warranty with free shipping and no sales tax (from Hong Kong)ebay listing for $196.99

The drop down menu that shows the galaxy s5 at that price and the note 5 at 449.

Verizon uses the CDMA network. That is the term you need to look for when searching for Verizon-compatible phones.

Woot rarely offers CDMA-compatible phones, and you’ll be lucky to find unlocked CDMA devices anywhere.

Can you please increase your efforts to find deals on Verizon-compatible CDMA phones and other mobile devices?

Love my Note 5! Great smartphone/phablet…

I believe Sprint is CDMA as well. Should work on all carriers?

Despite the Note 7 branding, the Note 5 is only one gen behind and is an excellent phone. I really, really enjoyed it. The only issue I had with it was battery life. It rarely lasted through the day.

I picked up a Note 5 from the last sale offered on Woot. The N920P is a Sprint-branded device. I was able to swap out the SIM card from my broken S7 Edge directly into the Note 5 and it picked up the network.

You also need to edit the APN settings for your carriers network. There is no reason this phone shouldn’t work on any US carrier. It may not have full band coverage (Every band in use) but it is essentially a world phone. Also, Sprint doesn’t lock their bootloaders like AT&T.

To increase my LTE speed on AT&T, I was able to get the MSL Code and edit the data settings and change band priority.

I have done that already but just want to make sure…

I already did the search to see if it would work with my US Cellular carrier but wanted to make sure

To make sure it will be compatible my carrier suggests I get either a MEID OR ESN number, is this possible?

I believe the MEID and ESN are unique for each phone so we don’t have those.

We did check with the vendor and he said it will work on US Cellular if you change the APN settings.

Anyone have a favorite, trustworthy Android root app they like?

The Sprint bootvid and the automatic activation process is very annoying, and it seems like the only way to get rid of it is to root the phone and remove the Sprint apk.

Unless someone knows a different way without having to root. I don’t trust most of the root apps out there (e.g. Kingroot).
