As a testament to my irrational and compulsive spendthrift ways, I am once again anxiously awaiting the arrival of my BEEF OR CHICKEN to be delivered Thursday.
And, as always, I will open it and be underwhelmed by the paucity of practicality provided therein.
I will then wallow in self pity and loathing for willfully participating in this debacle of disappointment and what more noble and worthwhile endeavors I could have put my $9.99 towards!
Until 32 days from now, when the next opportunity arises and risking the purgatory of the Vestibule Of Patience for the seductive allure of the mystery that is the Woot! BOC again beckons me and my dwindling bank account to once again throw a perfectly good $10 spot away.

Scored my first BOC ever and it was the April 1st Baggie Of Crappie!
I received it yesterday and it was a perfect dose of disappointment and excitement!
With the nitrile gloves and the sweet sushi making kit, I ended up getting my money’s worth.
Other crap included 2 outdated phones cases, a random lid, the cheapest plastic glasses holder ever manufactured, a travel pouch for essential oils, a water level valve, a stainless mug, beeswax wrap kit, woot pen & bag. Woot!

Well, one thing is for sure: the Woot monkeys sure know how to punish a guy who places his first order, gets buyers remorse (I didn’t realize I’d have to wait two weeks for my Apple Watch), asks to cancel the order, receives said cancellation, asks if he can get his “$10 off your first order” coupon back, receives said reissued coupon, and proceeds to use said coupon on his second order (although it’s the first fulfilled), which just so happens to be a highly sought after BoC… Whew! I’m outta breath. Not a single item here is useful to me, here’s my highly disappointing Beef or Chicken haul:

Does anyone know if there are actually tablets attached to these Q Link mailers? That would be really cool, even if they are crummy government tablets. I assume they’re just trash, they’re dated 2021 and carry the Emergency Broadband Benefit banner. That program has long since been discontinued in favor of the ACP. But I’ve still got my fingers crossed

This is my very first BOC. I’ve been a member of Woot! since the logo was purple. Nearly 20 years. I’ve missed it every time or the servers implode. Honestly, I haven’t tried THAT hard to get one but well, the crappy stars aligned and I’m not disappointed. I think I made out well.
