Bought a couple last time they were around to see if they helped any more with our issues (pet allergies and pet smells) than some cheapo Winix purifiers. Extremely happy with them and they do a MUCH better job. Will definitely be buying a couple more for our home to replace the last few winix ones.
I appreciate you sharing about this air purifier! I’ve been shopping for one since I got a $400 Happi air purifier in an IRK a last month, it doesn’t work and has something broken rattling around inside. 
We’re going to try to see if it can be fixed but finding that special man/woman/person for the job hasn’t happened yet. 
There’s so many choices out there for these air purifiers it’s overwhelming!
Trust me I feel your pain. We have 4 dogs and 3 cats in 1800sqft, and so besides using high MERV filters for our HVAC we have 4 additional purifiers throughout the house (master bedroom, our dog room/office, by the Litterbox, and the kitchen) and I LOVE these shark filters. Noticeable difference in my sleep quality/ability to breathe when I wake up in the mornings, noticeable decrease in “dog smell” in the dog room, and the Litterbox has 0 odor unless you stick your face right next to it. The winix c545 helped with smoke and pollen allergies but did nothing for our pet allergies and odors. These shark ones though? Night and day. The filters are a little pricier (even generic ones) than the winix c545 filters were, but considering they work SO much better I’m not mad at all about it.
An update on the air purifier saga…
We got the brand new $400 Happi air purifier that we’d gotten for free in a IRK working! OMG WAS I THRILLED! 
It makes such a big difference, It’s mind blowing to me! 
Our condo is ONLY 900 square feet and we’re using a smaller one (also a brand new freebie from either a BOC or a IRK) in the bedroom. Our son came over to visit and he was so impressed with the quality of air in here (I was really surprised that he could tell the difference) that the next day he actually went and bought the 3 in 1 Shark on sale at Best buy. I’d told him about this one but I guess they were sold out. I just can’t believe we lived without them for so long! Plus, we’re both ex smokers with breathing issues.
