Shark Robot w/Self-Empty Base

I have one that runs every day and i empty the base once in 10 days.

No electronic wall but you can use magnetic strips.

I’ve purchased 2 refurbished robo vacs from Woot (Ecovac and Shark). Both died in less than 12 months. Highly recommend purchasing a SquareTrade warrant if you are considering this. I think I’m done with them for now.

Well, I couldn’t argue with a deal like this, and my mid level is completely filthy 100% of the time. Maybe with this thing it’ll atleast get down to somewhat dusty 50% of the time.

I didn’t buy into the automatic vacuum hype when it was new, or even when it got popular. This is my first time trying one because it looks like it will actually do a good job and not harass me to empty it or reset it’s path constantly. I’ve heard so many people who paid big bucks for an old school roomba complain that it doesn’t really do much. I’m glad these things seem to be getting better and better (and cheaper and cheaper too!) Plus, who doesn’t love a Shark vacuum? I sure do, been my favorite brand for a while.

Do not buy this piece of junk at any price. I bought this on Woot (for almost double this price!) about 5 months ago and just threw it in the trash. There’s only a 30 return policy and there’s no wonder as to why. By the time you realize it’s a piece of junk it’s too late to get your money back.

Nice

I buy refurbished items often, but only a 90 day warranty is bothersome to me. I have had multiple robot vacuums over the years with various issues. They are better than they used to be, but even my expensive Roomba I7+ had issues 11 months in. My sons new I3 also had issues. If possible, I would get an extended warranty.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer extended warranties at this time.

I am totally with you on this! Some things just are not reusable to me! LOL!

That is the whole reason why I want one like this…PET HAIR! We have 5 dogs and I feel like I need to have multiple robot vacs running at the same time.

So why did they die? I’ve had many robots and they usually don’t die?

Had nothing but problems with my robots and I’ve had many time to try something different

For a good review, go to YouTube and pull up the ā€œVacuum Warsā€ channel and search for Shark IQ Robot. He likes the Shark IQ models but he likes the Gen 2 units more than the Gen 1 units. Unfortunately, Shark has multiple models for the same units AND doesn’t list a lot of the features so it is hard to compare. The UR1000SR was sold by Costco which probably explains the supply of refurbished units. If this is a Gen 2 model (meaning it has what they call ā€œfloor trackerā€ technology it is an excellent unit at an excellent price. Please note I said IF. I have not been able to confirm but the O/G drawing of the unit looks like it might be a Gen 2 model.

I know this deal itself is almost done but wanted to give my 2c for your future purchases.

For me, Woot’s factory reconditioned and refurbs are fantastic. I think I’ve personally only had one (minor) complaint and it was for a factory reconditioned Shark upright. It arrived dirtier than I’d expect for something ā€œreconditionedā€ and had an awful smell when I first ran it. The smell is still there, but definitely not nearly as bad, and the dang thing works so incredibly well that I don’t even care at this point, especially for the price I got it at.

As shown above, I would be careful about TVs and that’s not necessarily a fault of Woot’s, just shipping. Had a friend who also got a 75" refurbed that arrived non-functional and it was a hassle for him to return it.

For something like this, I wouldn’t worry at all.

I’ve personally never had problems returning refurbs on Woot. Even scratch and dent that is a little too dented they’ll either replace it, refund it, or give you a few bucks off if it still usable and you can live with the dent.

Heck new TVs, not just refurbs. Bought a new Vizio 65" (mother ship) and it came in with a smashed screen. Took a month to get a replacement out, and I sent pics to like 4 different people. It’s like they thought I wanted to extra 2 month inconvenience and smashed it in my own  Refurbs I never have a problem with though  Even TVs - I had a refurb Samsung that had a bad light when it arrived and they replaced it in a week or so.

Sincere thanks for this thorough and very helpful answer. :1st_place_medal:

There are special strips sold separately according to the manual that it will see and stay away from.
