@thunderthighs what does refurbished mean? What does scratch and dent mean? What condition will this be in when I get it? Will there be scratches and dents? Where were these refurbished? How old is this? When is its birthday? Why is the shipping estimate so far away?? I’m sure I can find a better price somewhere else
So many questions! 1. “Refurbished” covers everything from buyers’ remorse returns and products whose defects have been repaired by the pros to damaged packaging and discontinued items. If you can accept their checkered past, refurbs have a lot of love to give. 2. It means that there might be scratches or dents on the body of the item. 3. Full Working Condition and if not, let us know! 4. There might be scratches and dents and we outlined that in the Features. 5. Refurbished by a 3rd party company who we trust. 6. The model debuted in 2016. 7. Hopefully in April. 8. It’s an estimate based off an algorithm. It won’t go past that date but could easily arrive well before it. 9. If you do, let us know!
Refurbished electronics usually cost more due to quality control 2nd inspection and replacement for all defective components. I personally never had a issue with buying refurb as long as it was done by the original manufacturer.
However, I must add these were $70 from a competitor a day or 2 ago. Possibly still are so this deal is another fail in my opinion.
If you have a link from that competitor showing the lower price, please share it with us!
UV540 via Newegg on Ebay however its since been sold out however it was $59.99 for refurbished item as well. If I needed one that’s when I would’ve bought it.
