Have the batteries been replaced as part of the refurb?

If needed yes, they would be replaced or not refurbished.

I love my Shark / Ninja stuff, but 79.99 is pretty spendy for a fan. Anyone have any firsthand experience with these?

I have a similar one with the misting attachment. We don’t have a lot of hot days here, but we’ve been having a heat wave for about a week (low to mid 80’s), and it feels so good outside on the patio. When I Google the part number and get a lot of hits, but most don’t mention the part number. It seems it may be one especially made for Costco. According to the Shark site the misting attachment is compatible with this UH205 part number. It’s $32 from the mothership or Shark.

Bought one on the last deal in August for $30 more than this. We love this fan. It’s relatively quiet and moves a LOT of air. The oscillation can cover an entire room easily (I think it goes up to 180 degrees?). We’ve used it outside multiple times and removing it from the base is easy. Remote is a nice touch. I’ll probably lose it. Ours looked brand new minus a 1/2" surface scratch on the back side of the stand.

Debating on picking up another one at this price and buying the misting attachment.

This model comes from Costco and is actually a 5-Speed fan.

Yes, we have one and absolutely love it! Our power was out for 5 days in 100 degree heat. The fan worked well. It kept a charge on medium for about 45hours before we needed to recharge it. Ours came with a car charger adapter so we charged it in the car. I also brought this up to a friends lake house and we attached the hose to it to use the mist function outside (ours came with the mister attachment) . It was so nice to have the fan and a nice misting of water on the hot days outside. It’s really nice to take the fan out of the pedistal and use it as a table top fan. You can charge it either way; on the pedistal or on the tabletop fan part while using the fan; it charges while you use it. The remote works well. No problems with it. Works like it said it should.

$149.99 at Costco. Gets a 4.7/5 average rating from Costco customers. The Costco version also comes with a storage cover and a car charger not shown here.

Purchased two fans on the 17th, both of them started clicking after use. Been attempting to get them replaced by Woot since October 10th without success. @ThunderThighs is there a particular course of action I should be taking other than emailing woot? I shot off another email to support@woot.com a few minutes ago with copies of my previous emails that received initial responses but nothing further.

It’s best to use the support form so the contact is tied to your order. Also, they can only answer emails from the email address on your Woot account. I’ll ask CS about it.
