I replayed directly to your words with my opinion.
How were they not cordial?
What erronerous assumption?
I haven’t been aggressive or combative once… If you disagree, please point it out.
I wish I could understand… but you have, now twice, refused my invitation to understanding by not explaining what you would describe as “high quality”
Cool
If you have dozens or hundreds or thousands (I have thousands) of t-shirts almost all with print and many with the ‘new’ woot dtg style print
And 99 percent or more of non woot shirts preform almost exactly the same
Then 20 or 50 or 90 or 100 percent or the woot shirts preform 1/10th as well or 1/100th as well or 1/1000th as well
Well.. You can draw a conclusion.
Was just looking at a concert tshirt bought new at concert. It is a year shy of 30yrs old and looks like brand new. For last few years I have not worn it once but from new I have worn it more times than all the quite a bit more than 100 woot shirts I own combined.
Now I am not sure the exact number of woot shirts but of the original screen ones several are still quite visible though only the unworn ones are not pretty faded and not remotely simlar to new. Apart from print issue almost all have holes in neck, under arms and lower abdomen most have a ton of holes there.
Of the dtg print the unworn ones there are a couple that the print is already destroyed in part which makes them garbage in my eye - the print sticks to Itself and has several holes or peeled parts. This is, again, the never worn meter washed.
Of the dtg washed and worn a few peeled completely within a handful of washes.
Of washed, inside out ONE TIME and never worn, five are peeling between quite a bit and completely.
Still have at least 30 that have never been washed nor worn of this last batch of 42 ordered that had 5 peeling after the one wash.
To me that makes them horrible quality and defective.
Me and my gf have a few hoodies and shirts that lasted about 3 cold washes each. I felt super disappointed, I wear my shirts from as far back as 2010 all the time and they’re still in great shape. Hopefully this was a one off.

I found the dead horse.

I take this is still on going? I have a couple of my newer shirts that are starting to fade and that was after I got a few refunded when they started fading under 90 days.
Woot, the fit is reliable, I love the artists and variety, but I guess these are just 6 month shirts now. It makes me sad as I still have some 10 year-old ones that the fabric is not holding up, but the print is.
Should never buy them at full price with the current standard. Its become a sale-only retailer.
From whatever recent thing spend x get free shirt.
I paid less than. $2 for two shirts on sale with the free shirt coupon.
Haven’t washed them but at least they aren’t sticking to themselves peeling immediately.
Of course there is also then other problem had with woot - both are slightly off center and crooked.
That disgusts me as well.
Yup, pretty much.
I just wish they’d offer a quality option at least. Like, go ahead and rip me off… but at least give me what I want while you do.
I’d pay $30/shirt if they were made with good quality and the designs lasted
I’ve been hoping that Woot would fix its screen printing. I love Woot shirts, but I won’t buy them any more unless they are deeply discounted because I know I won’t get more than ten washes with it looking like a proper shirt (e.g. the graphic not peeled out faded at all). I have shirts from woot’s bygone era that have lasted a decade or more without looking anywhere near as bad as the ones I’ve bought in the past few years.
Can we get an alert when Woot decides that their screen printing matters and switches to a different producer? I love their designs, just hate that the shirts aren’t made well.
It’s not screen printing. These days it’s digital printed. Maximize profits with fast fashion blanks and design. Basically disposable shirts.
You might be able to screenshot a design and have someone on Etsy do it better or something.
It’s digital printed.

Well, I’m not sure what they are doing wrong with their digital printing, but it kinda sucks. ![]()
Did they use to be screen printed? Because my old Woot shirts are just fine. ![]()
12/2025: Are the shirts still printed off-center and peeling after two washes?
I see a few shirts I want to buy but not going to waste my money if the quality is still garbage.
My recent shirts have been okay-ish… If I take extra care to wash in a garment bag, with prints inside out, they seem to do better than before. Still not the longevity of my Woot shirts from 15 years back, which still seem to have better quality to prints.
However, the last two sweatshirts were horribly off-center, so I haven’t been getting those anymore. I kept one, just because. But the other was so bad with the alignment that it distorted the art, and I had to talk to customer service to return it. Hasn’t seemed to be bad with the shirts though…?
And the loss of the fitted shirt option is upsetting enough that I only get long sleeves, or the v-neck (the wife prefers those), neither of which has changed much at all… But it’s still a huge bummer to not have an option for anything else. It’s very limiting in what I can/will actually purchase. So, maybe I should be grateful, at least for the sake of my wallet ![]()
Personally, I’ve had more “off center” issues with the “old” shirt.woot than in the past decade with everything DTG and in more recent years, operated by Amazon Merch.
No special care here other than flipping the shirts inside-out; front loader washer + dryer. For the ones that have had print durability issues, most cropped up within the first wash or two. Contacted CS and they took care of it. The others that looked bad were after many washes already; even a screen print would have shown wear and/or distressing too.
That said, I know that not all is perfect either. Print issues are still happening and for Wooters who order more than one at a time, an issue during the print process might have affected all of them. The thing is, when all is well, folks aren’t as apt to comment “all is well”. When things aren’t going as well, folks comment.
Its just been so consistently bad. The shirt print frustratingly lasts about 4-6 months so the return process doesn’t work. I did have a few that were worse and was able to return, but the old ones that I’ve had from 10 years ago the print is still going strong; it’s the material that is understandably failing. Maybe people just don’t expect a shirt to last more than 4 months… That’s why these are only good now on sale.
Ordered my first Woot shirt recently after many years of looking at designs. The graphic is much, much lighter than what I saw on my screen, and it almost feels like it was ironed on. Plus the 100% cotton shirt was stiff as a board. I sent a note to Woot customer service and got refunded but can keep the shirt. I’ve seen some responses wondering why they don’t give various quality options for T’s like a tri-blend or organic cotton. I would pay for a softer feel and also a more vibrant image that doesn’t look like it’s going to peel off after one wash. I do give them props for having women’s sizes in the classic T so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a tent. But given my experience, I will not order a shirt from Woot again.
It’s taking all I have to not buy one of today’s shirts, the colors of love, it’s beautiful. I have unfortunately stopped buying woot shirts because the quality is just not what it used to be(wow I sound old). I have bought so many woot shirts, they’re brilliant. Unfortunately can’t pinpoint an exact time but the designs started shredding/peeling (can’t really describe). I have older shirts that are still crisp and beautiful but the later ones I can no longer wear. I tested again relatively recently and the same thing happened, they clearly changed the materials used. So again, I’m tempted to try again for today’s lovely shirt but I’m afraid it won’t last. RIP woot shirts.
