Should they keep making Indiana Jones movies?

Yes but just retire him n get a good actor

Yes
Just cast a new Indiana Jones. How many people have played James Bond?
7ish
Sean Connery: 1961–1967, 1970–1971 and 1982–1983. (First and best)
David Niven: 1967. (Basically parody)
George Lazenby: 1968–1969. (Admitted to weed before Hollywood had fully weridified itself. So not good for proper English, Martini-drinking, womanizing spy to be played by a Doobie Brother).
Roger Moore: 1972–1985.
Timothy Dalton: 1986–1994.
Pierce Brosnan: 1994–2004.
Daniel Craig: 2005–2021. (Craig grew into a proper Bond. I read all the Fleming booms and I think Craig scripts often had personal and emotional conflict of the source material. Though I refused to watch the last film because i figured they would handle the exit horribly).

The last two were complete s**t! So no.
Hollywood, STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE AND TRY SOMETHING NEW!!!
Why? Why would they? These last two didn’t even make money.

He should retire. He deserves to rest after a very prosperous career. I am sure he has enough money to last in his retirement!

I voted Yes because they will no matter my opinion. So go for it and dump all your cash into that dumpster fire.
Watching the Crystal Skull (2008) changed me. It was the exact moment that I decided to never trust Hollywood again. Maybe I should have realized before 2008, but I was younger, more naive, and innocent. That lesson in 2008 has served me well. So strangely, there is a silver lining to Crystal Skull being that terrible.

Someone needed to tell Indiana that snakes were the least of his issues. Enter aliens and time travel oh my.
Should’ve stopped a long time ago.

Hollywood is dying. It’s living in the past. I’m all for diversity and inclusion. Stop trying to remake or continue the classics. We need new and original, not cheap preachy knock-offs.
*Newest Ghostbusters excepted. ![]()
He specifically told everyone he doesn’t want another person taking his place in any more sequels. Let him sleep already

Should have brought in Short Round.
Look, Indy was recast (for obvious reasons) in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles so it’s not like it’s never been done.
Had the dude who played young Han Solo done a better job, I would’ve recommended him for the part.
Superman and Batman and Spider-Man have all been successfully recast tons of times. Even Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock have been successfully recast (I’m talking about Strange New Worlds and not the Kelvin Timeline).
It can be done, but the story has to be right.
I currently rank the Indy movies thusly:
Raiders
Last Crusade
Dial of Destiny
Temple of Doom
Crystal Skull.
Is it really, though? ![]()
Pretty sure that the “obvious reasons” recasts are the problem. Not the common sense ones.
I need to find that streaming for free. The mothership seems to have 3 “volumes” for $39.99. Something to watch after I get through JAG.
