Anyone know if there is a Mac compatible version of the software?
Thx

Per the vendor: It’s not Mac compatible. Some Mac users have used Windows simulation softwares to use their Futura machines. Customers can also contact Singer at 1-800-4-SINGER or talktous@singerco.com for more information.

Yes, and no.

Singer doesn’t make Mac compatible software, but third parties do. You would have to purchase the software (a quick google search shows multiple companies that have offerings, so take your pick) but they’re out there.

No, the software is NOT MAC compatible, but MAC owners can run it on a Windows-like interface.

I purchased the Quartet from Woot via a similar deal two years ago, and I have had a number of other Singer embroidery machine models as well. While I love them, if you’re considering a purchase, please be aware that there is a learning curve with ALL embroidery machines. Don’t blame the machine!

Chances are, you will NOT be able to just put something in a hoop and embroider successfully right away (especially a t-shirt!) until and unless you do your homework. That means carefully reading the owner’s manual and preferably joining a FB user’s group. There IS a learning curve, but it’s not that hard to master–there are just things you should know. I would recommend the Quintet if you’re not sure which model to buy.

Bought one from Woot. It never worked. Woot told me that ‘returns were not accepted for Buyer’s Remorse’. Singer would not repair or exchange one that worked either. I really wanted this to work, but now I am out over $600.
