Hey out there! Can this be used in a landscape fountain (to prevent icing)?
Meh. 40lb bucket is 26.99 at my local hardware store. At this price 40 lbs would cost $72
I wouldn’t if animals drink from it.
I wouldn’t because it could cause your water lines to corrode.
If it’s possible to get electric to it, try a submersible aquarium heater or a birdbath heater. Here’s one from Amazon to give you an idea.

Algorithm pricing is so horrible, couldn’t find anything anywhere in area at the time of purchase that mentioned safe for animals.
I did learn my 1st purchase when the scooper was bigger than the bag of salt.

Beet Juice work to melt Ice?
It lowers the temp that water freezes at. Doesn’t stop it entirely once its too too low it will freeze. We use it in the chickens water:)
